Jennifer Ohman-Rodriguez is the lead pastor at St John’s Lutheran Church in Rock Island, Illinois. She loves walking with people as they discover God's call for them. She also loves watching people heal, grow, and flourish! Her first book, A Time to Mourn and a Time to Dance: A Love Story of Grief, Trauma, Healing, and Faith, is published by Chalice Press. Her second book has been acquired by the Crossings Imprint of Wildhouse Publishing. Jennifer is a frequent workshop presenter in trauma-informed spiritual care, worship, and also curates the Trauma Recovery Page at Compassionate Christianity. She holds master’s degrees in early child development and divinity and was once upon a time, a singer. Jennifer and her husband, Forrest Meyer, live in Rock Island, Illinois with family flung all over the world.
